After a weekend of surprising results across the AFL, Thursday night suddenly seems a long time ago.

But the Cats' players and coaches will spend plenty of time reviewing the match on Monday, as they look to bounce back from what was a disappointing performace against West Coast at Domain Stadium.

The Eagles controlled proceedings for most of the game, so the final margin of 13 points probably flattered Geelong.

Yet the Cats were brave in the way they fought out the contest, given they lost Nakia Cockatoo and Scott Selwood to hamstring problems.

So there's plenty to be positive about.

Chris Scott's team remains third on the ladder, just one win behind the top-of-the-table Crows.

And the Cats still have four games to come at the fortress that is Simonds Stadium, starting with Sunday's big game against Fremantle.

We're all about leaving the loss to the Eagles behind and looking ahead to the meeting with the Dockers.

Cockatoo and Scott Selwood are likely to miss the match, and there's a question mark over Joel Selwood given he was reported for an altercation with Sam Mitchell, but we're excited about the return of Tom Hawkins from suspension.

We also expect Mark Blicavs to return after missing the loss to the Eagles due to "soreness".

Now we want to get your thoughts on who else should come into the side.

George Horlin-Smith was sensational in the VFL Cats' loss to Richmond on Saturday, racking up 38 disposals, 11 clearances, seven tackles and two goals.

Jordan Cunico (28 disposals and a goal), Jackson Thurlow (26 disposals and two goals), Wylie Buzza (16 disposals and two goals) and Aaron Black (18 disposals and four tackles) also put their hands up with strong performances in the VFL.
