Forward Aaron Black will play his first game for the Cats on Sunday afternoon against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.

Geelong secured the 26-year-old in a trade with North Melbourne last year and with impressive performances in the pre-season and round one of the VFL, Black gets his chance.

Mobile for his size at 192cm and 92kg, Black kicked a goal to go with 22 disposals, six marks and four inside 50’s in the VFL Cats’ 25-point win over Werribee last week and showed promise in the Cats’ first JLT Community Series fixture, booting four goals against Hawthorn.

Black was drafted at pick 25 in the 2009 national draft and made his debut in round 24, 2011 against Richmond. He kicked 33 goals from 18 games in 2013 and kicked 26 goals in 2014.
