Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe can’t wait for Sunday’s clash against Geelong at Domain Stadium.

Cats Media caught up with the Fyfe at the recent AFL Captains day at the MCG and threw a few questions at the returning gun.

“It will be a fierce game,” Fyfe said of the clash with the Cats.

“I think the Cats have got some pretty good form across this JLT Series and we’re starting to build towards some form.

“It’s the last game of the round and we’re expecting a capacity crowd and it should be a good game.”

The lead-up to the game has been dominated by talk about Fyfe and Patrick Dangerfield going head-to-head again.

Last time they lined up against each other was at the Adelaide Oval back in 2015.

That night they finished with a combined tally of 78 disposals and two goals as the Dockers ran out 11-point winners over the Crows.

Fyfe is looking forward to taking on Dangerfield again.

“It’s sort of a side-plot to the bigger picture that’s going on,” he said.

“The Geelong midfield has a lot of class players, with Selwood, Menegola, Cam Guthrie and the likes.

“Our midfield runs deep as well, with Mundy, Lachie Neale, Stephen Hill, Bradley Hill.

“So the Dangerfield-Fyfe rivalry will be a side-plot but it’ll be exciting either way.”
