Jordan Cunico has pulled up well after playing his first game for the season in the VFL last weekend.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who has battled back from a series of knee problems, is now set to spend a longer period of time on the field when the VFL Cats take on Frankston at Simonds Stadium on Sunday.

"Jordan played three quarters, which was our plan for him after such a long rehab," club physio Mark Young said on the latest episode of nib Medical Room.

"He's pulled up comfortably from that and he'll get more game-time, probably a full game, this weekend and we'll go from there."
