Josh Caddy has stepped up his training load as he works his way back from a knee injury.

Caddy suffered a medial ligament strain in the big win over the Western Bulldogs in round 13, but he has worked tirelessly on his rehabilitation program.

"Cadds is going really well," Cats physio Mark Young said on the round 17 episode of nib Medical Room.

"If anything, we've had to slow him down a bit.

"He's started running, he's start cutting, changing direction.

"He'll look to join the boys in some football drills next week, so we're happy with that one."
