"He's been playing some really good footy in our VFL team," Bartel said when asked about Clark on SEN radio on Thursday.

"He's fit and ready to go."

Bartel was full of praise for the way Clark has fought back from a series of leg injuries.

"He's super-positive," Bartel said.

"He was fantastic with our VFL guys. We've got a really young group that's playing in our VFL team at the moment and he's been really good for them.

"As a player he's been a big target on the field, but he also gets around them all and they were very excited to play footy with him."
