Lachie Henderson and Joel Selwood have polled votes in the AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year award after impressive performances against St Kilda on Saturday night.

Both Henderson and Selwood received four votes.

Saints midfielder Seb Ross was the unanimous choice for best afield, receiving the maximum five votes from both coaches.

Selwood is now just two votes behind the overall leader, his teammate Patrick Dangerfield.
