The Cats' VFL timekeeper, Glenn Clifford, has been awarded Life Membership of the Geelong Football Club.
Clifford, who works full-time with Bendigo Bank, the major sponsor of the VFL Cats, has been involved with the club as a volunteer timekeeper for almost four decades.
He was a timekeeper with the senior and reserves teams between 1979 and 1999.
He has been the Cats' VFL timekeeper since 2000.
It has been estimated that Clifford has kept time at about 1000 VFL/AFL games.
