What a great weekend for the mighty Cats!

The AFL boys ran riot against Gold Coast at Simonds Stadium on Saturday night, smashing the Suns by a whopping 120 points.

And the following day the VFL Cats made it two wins on the trot when they knocked over Coburg by 35 points at Simonds Stadium.

A quick look at the AFL ladder makes for great reading if you're a Geelong fan.

Chris Scott's team has risen to second place on the ladder, behind only North Melbourne, the side coached by his twin brother Brad.

The Cats had many standout contributors in their demolition of the Suns, with Patrick Dangerfield, Tom Hawkins, Steven Motlop, Cameron Guthrie, Joel Selwood, Josh Caddy, Mitch Duncan and Jimmy Bartel all cracking a mention among the best players in our match report.

But what caught the eye of the Cats Media crew was the performance of the emerging forwards.

Shane Kersten bobbed up with a career-high four goals, while Nakia Cockatoo booted three.

Darcy Lang kicked two, while Daniel Menzel racked up 25 touches, took nine marks, laid six tackles and kicked a goal.

Then there was Lincoln McCarthy, who was poleaxed on numerous occasions but just kept on bouncing back up.

So we want to get your thoughts on how the young forwards performed.

Vote below for who you thought was the best of them in the win over the Suns.
