Up to five of Geelong's recruits could debut for the club in Friday night's NAB Challenge opener against Collingwood at Simonds Stadium.

Zac Smith, Lachie Henderson, Sam Menegola, Patrick Dangerfield and Tom Ruggles have all been named in the 29-man squad. 

The Cats will trim the squad to 26 on the night.

Geelong members will receive free entry to the game and memberships will be able to be purchased on the night allowing free entry.

The Cats will also hold their family day just prior to the match beginning at 4.30pm in the Kardinia Park precinct.
