Majority of the Cats squad returned to training today as the Cats look to enter the 2016 season as serious premiership contenders.

Patrick Dangerfield, Harry Taylor and coach Chris Scott were absent however, with the trio still in Ireland following the International Rules Series on Sunday.

New recruits Lachie Henderson, Zac Smith and Scott Selwood slotted in amongst their new teammates with ease, whilst veterans Corey Enright and Jimmy Bartel looked as fit as ever.

Rhys Stanley, Mitch Clark, Josh Cowan and Linc McCarthy all continued their rehab running efforts and looked promising.

One of the great stories of the session however was Daniel Menzel's involvement, after beginning countless pre-seasons in the rehab group, the 24-year-old looked excited to train with the main group and determined to perform.
