THE 'Carji' Greeves Medal will be awarded to Geelong's best and fairest player at a gala function at Melbourne's Crown Casino on Thursday night.

In preparation for the big event, we look back at the past five winners.

Who will take home the 2015 'Carji'?

2010: Joel Selwood
Selwood won his first best and fairest after playing in 24 of the Cats’ 25 matches and averaging 28.2 disposals and five tackles per game. He also kicked nine goals.

2011: Corey Enright
Enright won his second best and fairest (and his second in a premiership year) after featuring in 23 of the Cats’ 25 games and averaging 22.3 disposals and six marks per game.

2012: Tom Hawkins
The big ‘Tomahawk’ claimed his first ‘Carji’ Greeves Medal after enjoying a brilliant season in which he booted 62 goals, a tally that equated to 19 per cent of the Cats’ majors. He averaged 12.6 disposals and six marks per game. He also booted the winning goal after the siren against Hawthorn late in the season.

2013: Joel Selwood
Selwood won his second best and fairest after enjoying a brilliant season in which he featured in all 25 of the Cats’ games. He averaged 24.6 disposals and 5.6 tackles per match. He also spent quite a bit of time in the forward line, finishing with 30 goals. On top of all that, he finished runner-up in the Brownlow Medal after polling 27 votes, just one fewer than the winner, his former teammate Gary Ablett Jr.

2014: Joel Selwood
Selwood won his third ‘Carji’ Greeves medal after featuring in all 24 of the Cats’ matches. He averaged 25.6 disposals and six tackles per game and also kicked 24 goals.
