Geelong full forward Tom Hawkins hasn’t stopped kicking goals despite the season ending.

The Cats leading goal-kicker jetted off to Fiji with long-term partner Emma Clapham after the season wrapped up and it would seem he had a purpose in mind.

Hawkins used the idyllic setting to pop the question to Clapham and she quickly accepted!

Hawkins said he couldn’t wait to get home to celebrate with family and friends.

“She is my best friend & the love of my life! That's why words cannot describe how happy I was yesterday when I asked @EmmaClapham 2 marry me.” Hawkins said on Twitter

Clapham and Hawkins grew up together and the bride to be paid tribute to her new fiancé.

“After what has been a very emotional and tough year, we are so blessed to share this wonderful time of happiness together and with our family and friends. I look up to this wonderful man (literally) everyday, he inspires me, encourages me, makes me laugh so much and I just can't wait to be his wifey!” Clapham said on her Instagram account.
