FIVE THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR:

1. A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF SUPPORT FOR DANIEL MENZEL
The Cats' comeback kid will play his first AFL game in four years when he lines up against Collingwood at the MCG on Friday night, and everyone's excited …

2. JAMES KELLY ADDING STRENGTH TO THE BACKLINE
Whether or not 'Kel' is at the Cats next season remains to be seen, but right now he remains very much in the club's best 22. The selection committee wasted no time bringing him back into the side after he recovered from the ankle injury that sidelined him last weekend. Kelly trained strongly during the week and will be fired up to prove he's still got plenty to offer.

3. ANOTHER MILESTONE FOR STEVIE J
Steve Johnson goes into the game on 449 goals and he should, given his recent form, pass the 450 mark during the clash with the Pies. Johnson kicked four goals in the draw with the Saints last weekend, but, of course, it really should have been five.

4. CROWD
The attendance has topped 50,000 at each of the last 17 clashes between Geelong and Collingwood. And everyone at the Cattery would love to see another big crowd turn up to cheer on Daniel Menzel in his comeback game. So get along to the MCG. It promises to be a great night.

5. ANOTHER HUGE CATS WIN?
The greatest defeat inflicted by the second-placed team on the top team in VFL/AFL history is 96 points. That record was set in round 24, 2011, when Geelong 22.17 (149) thrashed Collingwood 8.5 (53). Daniel Menzel kicked five goals that night and was later rewarded with three Brownlow Medal votes.
