After a disappointing year, the VFL Cats will look to end their season on a high note with a win over the Northern Blues this Saturday.

The 12th placed Cats have some handy additions for the last game of the year, with the returns of George Horlin-Smith (AFL omission), Mathew Stokes (rested) and Billie Smedts (illness).

VFL listed players Stephen Bensted, Matt Farrelly and Zak Sherman also return to the squad of 27. Although, the Cats will be without Daniel Menzel (AFL selection) and Cameron Delaney (knee).

The 14th placed Blues have also endured a difficult season, with many injuries to AFL and VFL listed players. Last week they suffered a 90-point loss to the Box Hill Hawks.

The two sides last met was round 12, 2014 at Preston City Oval. The Cats recorded a strong 71-point win, 14.12.96 to 3.7.25.
