GEELONG skipper Joel Selwood says he has no doubt that he'll be fit to take on the Sydney Swans at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night after scans on his right hand showed no broken bones.

Selwood's hand became very swollen during the win over Collingwood at the MCG on Friday night, but he played out the game, finishing with 26 disposals, five marks, seven tackles and a goal.

"I've got the scans back and all has come up well," Selwood told CatsTV on Monday morning.

"There's no fracture in there, and I've just got to work away at getting it better now.

"[I'll] work away with the medical staff and just get the swelling out of it, but I'll be fine to go this Saturday night."

The Cats will head to Sydney keen to atone for last year's 110-point loss they suffered against the Swans at the SCG.

"They’re a quality side," Selwood said. "They showed us how to play up there last year, which we remember.

"But off the back of playing well on Friday night, I'm really confident we can get up there and make a contest of it.

"I'm looking forward to it."
