Geelong will have their first top 10 draft pick since 2006 after the Cats and Crows completed the final trade of the 2014 trade period.

The Cats swapped their pick 14 and pick 35 for Adelaide’s pick 10 and pick 47.

The Cats will now have picks 10, 47, 55, 60, 73 and 91.

Joel Selwood was selected by the Cats with pick 7 of the 2006 draft, the last Cat selected in the top 10.

Other top 10 draft picks currently on the Cats list include Jimmy Bartel, Andrew Mackie and Josh Caddy.

The club currently has two picks in the 2014 AFL draft but may make further delistings before the list lodgement deadline. The club will also be able to acquire delisted free agents prior to the draft.
