Geelong will be well represented on Grand Final day this Saturday despite not being in the big dance.

Retiring premiership player Josh Hunt will do a lap of honour to celebrate the end of his fantastic career.

The two-time Cats premiership player will bid farewell in the motorcade to start at 1.30pm.

And the Cats will put their hopes of one win on grand final day squarely on the shoulders of young forward Jordan Murdoch in the grand final sprint.

Murdoch is considered one of the favourites for the sprint with Adelaide’s Patrick Dangerfield not entering after winning the last three consecutive sprints.

The heats will begin for the sprint at 12.30pm with the final to be held at half-time.
