The biggest stage confronts the Cats on Friday night so see who could be returning to don the blue and white.

Steve Johnson
The game’s most talked about foot will be heavily analysed this week. The Cats are confident of Johnson returning to action this week. Whether he is a bit rusty or the break has freshened him up will be another side-story to the game. The Cats will be hopeful of Johnson being fit to play as he averages 21 disposals and two goals a game against the Hawks. His round five effort was 34 disposals and three goals on Easter Monday.

Steven Motlop
In the last few weeks, broadcasters have showed numerous instances where Motlop has clutched at his knee after copping a knock during a game. The rest against the Lions will do him a world of good and he’ll be key to the Cats chances in September. He’s kicked seven goals in his last four games and taken fourteen running bounces in that time too.

Hamish McIntosh
The Cats would be thrilled that McIntosh has been able to ruck for 18 games in 2014 after missing nearly two years of football prior to this season. He himself has said he feel as though his form is peaking so how he handles the ruck duo of Hale and Ceglar will be key. If Walker keeps his spot in the side it will also means McIntosh will find himself up forward more during the game.

Allen Christensen
Christensen had played every game up until last week since his round fourteen return against the Suns. The Cats gave him a blow and he’ll be raring to go against Hawks this week. Had 24 disposals, five tackles and three clearances against the Hawks two weeks ago.
