Significant traffic delays will affect Cats fans heading to the Cats and Hawks blockbuster.

V-Line - Geelong line service disruption
Due to an incident on Friday night (22 August 2014) which has blocked the Geelong line on the city side of Werribee, the following services will operate on Saturday 23 August until further notice.  Please check for further updates here or follow us on Twitter @vline_geelong
For Geelong Line services

V/Line trains on the Geelong/Marshall Line are operating between Marshall/Geelong Station and Werribee Station, stopping at all stations.

Coaches will operate express between Werribee Station and Southern Cross Station.

Customers for stations between Werribee and the City will need to change at Werribee and travel on Metro trains.

For Football Fans - Hawks v Cats at MCG (7:40PM)
The football special trains to Melbourne (16:18 and 17:18 from South Geelong) will be replaced by coaches to Southern Cross Station.  On arrival, please transfer to Metro trains or to Yarra Trams services to travel to the MCG.

Warrnambool line services
Trains are running between Warrnambool and Geelong with coach connections between Geelong and Southern Cross Station.

Please allow up to an extra 60 minutes for your journey.
Coach journey times are subject to road traffic conditions.
No pets or bikes allowed on train replacement coaches.
In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

Please be aware Cats fans that the Domain Tunnel will be closed after the Cats v Hawks clash from 11pm Saturday 23 August to 8am Sunday 24 August for routine maintenance.

On your way home from the MCG, City Link suggest to detour via Batman Avenue, Alexandra Avenue, City Road and Power Street.
