Geelong Cats football manager Neil Balme is confident that 284 game player Corey Enright will play on next year.

"He will definitely go on, for sure,” Balme told Triple M.

“We are really just waiting for him to tell us he reckons he can go on, because he is playing as almost as well now as he ever has.

Balme believes the only thing that would end the three-time premiership and five-time All-Australian’s career at the end of 2014, would be if something physical hindered him to hang up the boots.

Otherwise the contract is there waiting for him to sign.

“I don’t think there’s much doubt in his mind either now, but he will just see how he finishes.

“Unless something bad happens to him between now and then, I’m almost certain that he will play on.”
