Geelong will welcome Jed Bews and Billie Smedts back into its line-up to take on Carlton tomorrow night at Etihad Stadium.

Bews will replace Steve Johnson who has foot soreness whilst Smedts comes in for Jimmy Bartel who has a corked thigh.

Bews and Smedts played in the Cats last clash with Carlton in round 12 matching up on small forwards Troy Menzel and Chris Yarran.

In his past three VFL matches, Bews has averaged 21 disposals and eight marks per game.

The Cats side will have four different players to the last clash with the Blues with Johnson, Jimmy Bartel, Jesse Stringer and Josh Walker not playing from that game. Allen Christensen, Josh Caddy, Travis Varcoe and Shane Kersten will play Friday night after not playing in that game.
