On Saturday night when the pressure started to soar, the Cats’ fans stood up and brought the thundering roar that was needed to pull Geelong across the line.

Mitch Duncan, who kicked the Cats last goal, believes the crowd’s lifting support was a key factor in the two-point win against the hungry Dockers.

“The crowd were unbelievable… we asked them to bring a bit of noise tonight and they certainly did that and it definitely helped us get over the line I reckon,” Duncan said.

Mitch Duncan, Tom Hawkins and Allen Christensen also showed their appreciation on Twitter. See their thankful tweets below.
