In his 150th game, Harry Taylor topped Geelong’s votes for the AFL Coaches Association Champion of the Year Award.

The Cats secured a 13-point victory over the Western Bulldogs in miserable conditions on Sunday afternoon and the coaches, who awarded Taylor 8 votes, recognized his efforts down back.

Taylor, who now has a total of 26 AFLCA votes, led the way in defense with a staggering 11 marks, leagues ahead of anyone else on the field.

The veteran also finished up with 23 disposals, 4 tackles and 7 rebound 50’s.

Steven Motlop received 7 votes for his efforts as he collected 30 disposals in the wet weather.

Steve Johnson was awarded four votes and walked away with 25 disposals, 7 clearances and an impressive 14 tackles.

Mitch Duncan also received one vote.
