On Cats TV James Kelly and AFL journalist Adam McNicol joined Argue the Toss to discuss where the game can be won during Sunday’s battle against the Lions.

After seeing the Cats out in full speed last week, McNicol believes the Cats will be too strong for the Lions, especially with their best player Tom Rockliff missing in action due to a one week suspension.

“Geelong was really on its game last week – absolutely sensational game to watch and I think there is no doubt that the ball use will be a big factor.”

“But I think in the end this game will come down to that Geelong simply have better players - and Brisbane missing Rockliff will be a massive problem for them,” McNicol said.

To win against the Lions, Kelly says the Cats must exert a solid brand of footy that’s directed and driven by the midfield from the first to the last siren.

“Going into this week we just have to make sure that we’re really switched on and ready to play,” Kelly said.

“I think with 90% of games of football these days are won or lost in the midfield.

“They’ve got some really good young players in their midfield and so do we but we just want to go and play a really good brand of footy and make it as hard as we can for them.”
