Early this year Steven Motlop flew to London for world-class surgery on his patella tendon by Swedish surgeon, Hakan Alfredson.

Alfredson, who specialises in the treatment of achilles, patella and elbow tendons, has operated on numerous sports professionals including soccer superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovi?.

The surgery was a success and Motlop is already making significant progress. At this stage Motlop believes he should be ready to return by round 5 or 6.
