Has battled a number of niggling injuries during his first season with the Cats, but has been an impressive performer while playing across half-back in the VFL in the past couple of weeks. Was among the best afield in the 26-point VFL loss to Footscray at Simonds Stadium on Sunday. Finished with 20 disposals, six marks (including a screamer - watch it by clicking on the video player above) and three rebound-50s.
Joel Selwood
Missed the win over the Western Bulldogs at Simonds Stadium on Saturday after being suspended for his tackle on North Melbourne's Sam Wright the previous weekend. Will be straight back into the midfield when the Cats take on Greater Western Sydney in Canberra on Saturday.
Billie Smedts
Was best on ground in the Cats' VFL loss to Footscray. Racked up 27 disposals, six marks, five tackles, four clearances and six inside-50s. Has just done just about everything possible to force his way into the AFL team for the clash with the Giants.
George Horlin-Smith
Another player who has returned to the field in recent weeks after battling injury problems. Tallied 17 disposals, eight tackles and 10 clearances in the VFL loss to the Dogs.
