GEELONG has regained ruckman Rhys Stanley for Friday night’s blockbuster clash with Port Adelaide.

Stanley missed the win over Essendon in round 10 after suffering a corked thigh the previous week against West Coast in Perth.

But the big man has been named in the side to play the Power, and he moved well when the Cats had a light hit-out at Adelaide Oval on Thursday evening.

Stanley has replaced promoted rookie Michael Luxford, who made his debut in the win over the Bombers, in the line-up.

Luxford and fellow youngster Jake Kolodjashnij are the emergencies who have travelled with the team to Adelaide.

Forward Shane Kersten, who was subbed out of the Essendon game with hamstring soreness, has been named and has made the trip to South Australia.
