Geelong has passed 35,000 members as the club continues to push for a new membership record in 2014. This marks the earliest time of year that the club has exceeded the 35,000 member mark.

The Cats are seeking to reach 50,000 for the first time and have introduced a range of member activities aimed at maximising the member experience.

“We are pleased that so many members have already committed before the season gets under way,” Geelong’s general manager of commercial operations Steve Hocking said.

“We expect that we can surpass the 40,000 mark before our round one clash with the Crows. Most encouraging is the fact we have over 4,000 supporters that have signed up as new members for the season ahead.

“There is a wide range of member packages that start at $50. We again expect our team to perform well on-field and there has never been a better time to be a Geelong member.”

Supporters can sign up online at http://membership.geelongcats.com.au/  or alternatively by calling 1300 GO CATS or in person at the membership department adjacent to the Cats Shop at Simonds Stadium.
