The Geelong Cats hosted the Fare on the Field presented by Ford earlier this year on the GMHBA Stadium oval. The event focused on celebrating the success stories of Pioneering women, making significant strides in their industry.

The event was hosted by Geelong’s Women Football Strategy and Pathways Manager, Simone Bellears, alongside number one ticket holder, Rebecca Maddern. They were joined by keynote speaker, Kylie Rogers – General Manager of Commercial for the AFL, with panellists Rachel Robertson, Anna Ross, Nicole Livingstone, Lyndsay Sharp and Jessica Selvay.

The Club is proud to announce a $5,000 donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) from the contributions made on the day. Breast Cancer is the most common form of cancer in Australian women, with one in every eight women to be diagnosed before the age of 85. In 2018, it is estimated that over 18,000 females will be diagnosed with breast cancer.

The donation will assist efforts into the prevention and cure of breast cancer in Australia.
